Erleben Sie eine abwechslungsreiche Wanderung mit Sagen, Legenden, phantastische Geschichten und eine traumhafte Bergwelt am Fusse der Churfirsten.

Sie erreichen den Sagenweg mit der Sesselbahn von Alt St. Johann nach Sellamatt. Der Sagenweg führt am Fusse der sieben Churfirsten entlang. Die Starttafel befindet sich gleich bei der Bergstation des Sesselliftes.

Der Anblick dieser markanten Gipfel – dem Wahrzeichen des Toggenburgs – ist phantastisch! Auf dem Sagenweg begegnet man insgesamt 12 mehr oder weniger bekannten Toggenburger Sagen, die in stark gekürzten Fassungen aufgehängt sind. Bei jeder Sage dieses Rundwegs findet man auch ein grosses und farbenfrohes Bild.

Experience a varied hike with sagas, legends, fantastic stories and a wonderful mountain world at the foot of the Churfirsten.

You can reach the Sagenweg with the chairlift from Alt St. Johann to Sellamatt. The trail of legends leads along the foot of the seven Churfirsten mountains. The starting board is right next to the mountain station of the chairlift.

The sight of these striking peaks - the symbol of Toggenburg - is fantastic! On the Legends Trail you will encounter a total of 12 more or less well-known Toggenburg legends, which are posted in greatly abbreviated versions. With every legend of this circular route you will also find a large and colorful picture.

Die Wanderung kann auch zweimal abgekürzt werden. Es ist auch möglich, einen Teil des Sagenwegs als Streckenwanderung zu unternehmen und mit der Kistenbahn nach Starkenbach herunterzufahren.
